Well I’m exhausted from complaining about boot camp instructors all week, so I decided to throw up a short video we made awhile back regarding proper warmups. I think right now we have a great warmup system we’ve been using and anyone would benefit from implementing it. This video is only the tip of iceberg, but it gives you a general idea how a proper warmup should be structured.
So next time your expensive trainer, or inexpensive boot camp instructor, flashes their $99 online certification and tells you all you need is a few minutes on the bike or treadmill, (or running around some parking lot at 5am), it’s time to start asking questions.
Are there situations that would warrant not foam rolling or stretching? Certainly, but for 99% of the population, I think this system works.
